Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance

By accessing Pop! at www.pop.my, creating an account, or posting any content, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, the Community Guidelines, and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kuala Lumpur.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to register. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must have reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. We may terminate accounts where we have reason to believe this requirement is not met.

3. Your Account

Registration. Provide an accurate email address and keep it up to date. You are responsible for all activities under your account.

Usernames. Usernames must be 3–15 characters. Certain names are reserved (platform terms, well-known brand names, impersonation risks). We may reclaim a username that violates these rules or that belongs to an inactive account.

Username changes. You may change your username once every 30 days. A released username is held for 30 days before it becomes available again.

Security. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. We are not liable for losses caused by your failure to keep your credentials secure.

4. Content You Post

Your ownership. You retain ownership of what you post. By posting, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display, distribute, and promote that content in connection with operating and improving Pop!.

Your responsibility. You are solely responsible for your content. You confirm that you own or have the right to post everything you share, and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.

Outfit links and prices. Links and prices are for information only. We do not endorse, verify, or guarantee any linked product, seller, or price, and we are not a party to any transaction you enter with a third-party retailer.

Embeds. When you share a link from another platform (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and others), that content remains subject to the original platform's terms. We embed it on your behalf but are not responsible for its availability or accuracy.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

•         Post content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, threatening, or obscene, or that incites violence or discrimination.

•         Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person.

•         Spam, flood, or otherwise disrupt the service or its community.

•         Post unsolicited commercial content, referral schemes, or pyramid promotions.

•         Scrape or automatically extract data from the service without our written permission.

•         Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service or to another member's account.

•         Distribute malware, phishing links, or any other harmful code.

•         Circumvent or interfere with security features.

6. Intellectual Property

All software, design, graphics, and original content we create are our intellectual property or that of our licensors and may not be reproduced, modified, or distributed without our permission.

If you believe content on Pop! infringes your copyright, contact us with (a) a description of the copyrighted work, (b) a link to the infringing material, (c) your contact details, and (d) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized.

7. Moderation and Enforcement

We may remove or hide content, and mute, suspend, or permanently ban accounts that violate these Terms or the Community Guidelines. We will endeavor to give notice before acting where reasonable. Moderation decisions may be appealed by contacting us; our final decision is binding.

8. XP, Levels, and Points

XP, levels, and any other points or badges have no monetary value and cannot be transferred, sold, or redeemed for any real-world benefit. We may adjust, reset, or discontinue these systems at any time without notice.

9. Third-Party Services

Pop! links to third-party platforms and retailers. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, availability, privacy practices, or terms. Profile photos may be fetched from third-party services such as unavatar.io and Gravatar; by linking a social account you confirm you are entitled to have its public profile photo displayed here.

10. Availability and Changes

We provide Pop! on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after the effective date of a change constitutes acceptance.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Pop!.
